What is a “Wholesale Customer”?
The Metro Flower Market provides public wholesale flowers at a competitive price available for local pick-up or delivery in the greater Metro area. However, we also offer a discounted price for our customers who run their own business’, are purchasing our product with a Tax ID Number, and have the intent to resell our product to their own customers.
What is the benefit of being a Wholesale Customer?
The customers who fill out an application for membership and are approved will enjoy a percentage discount on certain product purchased through the Metro Flower Market. This percentage is variable depending on the customer and will be discussed during the follow-up call after approval. Our intent is to be competitive with other local wholesalers. These members will also enjoy the perk of tax-free purchasing.
Can I ever get a bigger discount?
Approved members will be regularly reviewed and may be eligible for a new discount rate depending on recent volume. Any additional discounts will be at the discretion of The Metro Flower Market and may be dropped back down if volume expectations are no longer being met. Please feel free to contact us if you feel you are eligible and have not been contacted.
How do I become a Member?
Easy – fill out and submit the application for membership linked below. This can also be done in the store if it’s more convenient for you. Once submitted, your application will be reviewed by our management team to confirm your contact information and active business license in the state disclosed. At this point, you will either be “Approved” or “Not Approved”. Please allow 5-10 business days for this process. You will be contacted by a member of the Metro Flower Market once your membership status has been determined.
What products are eligible for the discount?
Your tax-free status will apply across the board on any purchase at The Metro Flower Market. However, your membership discount will apply only to regularly priced flowers and greenery. This does not include hard goods, classes, delivery fees, labor costs, already discounted products, or any other specials.
Do these discounts only apply to online purchases?
Nope! Not only will your discount and tax-free status apply to your online login, it will also apply to any in-store purchases you make using a credit card with the member’s name on it. For example, any representative of Jon Smith’s Flowers can make a purchase in-store as long as they are using a card that shows the name of the business entity or owner.
Can I set-up a house account and pay monthly or at any other regular interval?
Not at this time. Any purchases made must be paid for at the time of purchase.
Is there anything else I should know?
Upon application approval, the member (you) will be granted a 1-year membership plan. You will receive email notification upon expiration of the plan’s term. At that point, it is your responsibility to submit a new application for approval once again. We do this because business licenses are not permanent and membership status is reserved only for those with a current Tax ID Number. On that same note, if at any point any Approved Member is discovered to have given access of their account to a Non-Approved individual for personal use, your membership status will be immediately revoked. Also, considering this constitutes tax fraud, the guilty parties will be reported to the proper authorities for further review.
